Participation
Besides SAGA members, the School is addressed to researchers in academia and research institutes, as well as industry professionals, who wish to learn about recent developments in CAGD and its applications, and to share their experiences in these areas.
All interested researchers outside the SAGA project are encouraged to apply for financial support. We plan to support primarily young researchers, namely advanced Master's students, PhD students, and Postdocs (up to 5 years since PhD). SAGA shall cover registration to the School, accommodation and full board at OAC, the conference venue (double rooms). In certain cases, we may cover travel expenses. We shall also try to provide transfer between Chania International airport and OAC.
Since the total number of participants is limited, interested participants are invited to apply by emailing "saga2010@di.uoa.gr" a PDF file with the required info, by July 15th, 2010, see the Second Call for Participation. Please indicate whether your would like to participate in the Poster session. Participants are expected to arrive with their laptop so as to follow software presentations and tutorials. If you are unable to bring your own laptop, please let us know, and we shall arrange for a PC.
Registration is now open, until September 15th. In mid-September, we shall also announce any hardware / software requirements for the tutorial presentations.
